SUMMER PROGRAMS – COACHES AND UMPIRES

The City of Mountain Iron will be accepting applications for coaches and umpires for the summer of 2026.
Applications will be available at the Mountain Iron City Hall, 8586 Enterprise Drive South, Mountain Iron MN  55768, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  
Please specify which position you are applying for on your application.

The Mountain Iron First Responders are accepting applications for emergency responders (first responder or emergency medical technician) to answer emergency medical and trauma calls within the City of Mountain Iron.  The City of Mountain Iron will reimburse training costs for the accepted applicants.  Applications are available at the Mountain Iron City Hall or on line at www.mtniron.com.  If any further information is needed, Please contact City Hall at 218-748-7570 .



The Mountain Iron Fire Department has immediate openings for fire fighters.Paid on call firefighters receive and wage of $12.00 per hour. Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license, be able to pass a physical and live within 10 minutes of the Fire Hall.
