Summer seasonal positions are $15.00 per hour. Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

The Mountain Iron First Responders are accepting applications for emergency responders (first responder or emergency medical technician) to answer emergency medical and trauma calls within the City of Mountain Iron. The City of Mountain Iron will reimburse training costs for the accepted applicants. Applications are available at the Mountain Iron City Hall or on line at www.mtniron.com. The Mountain Iron Fire Department has immediate openings for fire fighters.Paid on call firefighters receive and wage of $12.00 per hour. Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license, be able to pass a physical and live within 10 minutes of the Fire Hall. LABORER
The City of Mountain Iron has an immediate opening for up to two (2) full-time Laborer position in the Public Works Department. This position reports to the Director of Public Works. Starting salary is $27.52 per hour. Minimum qualifications include two (2) years of experience, valid class B commercial driver’s license and the ability to obtain a class A commercial driver’s license within six months.
